Powerball AU rules were changed in 2013. The player’s task was to choose 6 numbers from 40 and an extra number from 1 to 20. It was necessary to correctly pick all 7 numbers to claim the jackpot.
The rules were changed again in April 2018, when it was decided that the pool of main numbers would consist of 35 numbers, among which the player was to choose 7 numbers. Additionally, one must select a “Powerball” number from 1 to 20.
